Ramen Kagetsu Arashi

Ramen Kagetsu Arashi is quite a newly-opened ramen place at the basement of The Grand Cathay, and my friend Hong Zuo (who loves to eat ramen as much as I do) has been going and on about how good the ramen is. Out of curiosity, Boyfriend and I decided to check out the restaurant.

I ordered their signature ramen, Ginjiro Ramen. The broth is a special blend of tonkotsu and bonito, resulting in a broth that has a smoky feel to it. The charshu slices are well done, but I am just not used to having hard-boiled egg with my ramen although I understand the principle behind it.

I cannot say if it is good or bad; everyone has their own preference in terms of taste. It is definitely something to try when you are in the area.
