Oyster Bar & Grill Wharf: Seafood Saffron Rice & Sangaria

Following a triple movie date watching "Maleficent" where I think Angelina Jolie did an excellent job, we were all hungry so we decided to have supper. However, it was almost 11pm and most restaurants were closed so we headed down to the restaurant we knew is till open, Oyster Bar & Grill Wharf at Robertson Quay.

Stella and I decided to have something alcoholic so we ordered a a bottle (there are three sizes: glass, small bottle - up to three glasses and bottle) of red sangaria (there is a choice of red or white sangaria). The sangaria is served in a special cone-shaped glass that is stacked in a glass of ice to keep it at the ideal temperature.

I wasn't feeling very hungry, so I decided to have something light and ordered Seafood Saffron Rice, Paella Style. The yellow rice looks bland but it is thoroughly infused with seafood. There are mussels, scallops and prawns, but it feels like the seafood and the rice are two separate dishes and it's a little cold.
